Recordings from the 12 Hour Kirtan May
The 12 Hour Kirtan keeps getting better and better. May’s kirtan theme was Nrsimha, the half man, half lion incarnation of Krishna. The day featured some of the regular kirtan leads such as Acyuta Gopi and Ananta Govinda, SRI – Iswari and Sruti Ram, Rasanath das, Namaras das as well as many others.
During the kirtan there was a flower bathing of the deities at The Bhakti Center. Over 300 pounds of flowers were showered onto the deities and then thrown into the crowd.
Gaura Vani and As Kindred Spirits told the story culminating in a wild kirtan to Nrsimha. Special Guest Radhanath Swami lead the final amazing kirtan and everyone is looking forward to the next 12 Hour Kirtan on June 5th.
Here are the recordings from the day. Our recorder had some sort of malfunction and there is digital distortion on most of the tracks. We almost decided to not release this month’s recordings due to the lower quality, but we chose to put them out. Our apologies for this. We’ll correct the issue for next month.

Thank you so much!!!! The kids have been watching the videos of the kirtans! Especially the one with the dramatic reading of Lord Nrsimhadeva. (He is Keshava’s favorite.) After we left the kirtan that night he told me that they should tell the Nrsimhadeva story at the next kirtan as well. I had to tell him that that wasn’t going to happen but to be happy that he got to hear it that time. So recording difficulties aside you are making many people very happy… me included!!!!
